What is it?
An adventure park for families
Where is it?
Horning, a rural parish in Norfolk
How much is it?
For 2012 tiny tots go free. Entrance for young children is £10.50, older children and adults £12.50.
Why is it recommended?
I went with a small group of parents with children ranging between ages 3 to 10. It was a marvellous day out and there was enough to do to spend a whole day there.
There’s no big name fast food chains (although there are several cabins to buy locally sourced/organic food from) and it looks fairly eco-conscious. Storytelling, arts and crafts, face painting and den building all available with huge tree houses/rope bridge constructions to climb.
Incidentally, it is on The Observers list of 50 most fabulous things to do in the world.
Opening times 10 - 5.30 or dusk. Closed December - March apart from February half term. They occasionally close on a Tuesday/Wednesday so call ahead to check they are open.
