Why is it recommended?

It's a brilliant place to go for mums who are desperate for some 'me-time'! A girlie heaven! Ragdale Hall offers peace and serenity, an escape from the stresses of a busy life. If you can manage to find someone to take care of the children for a night, you should definitely give your body a well deserved treat at this beautiful Spa.

I booked the Overnight Reviver Break with my husband. It was just what we both needed. Gorgeous healthy food, fantastic facilities and service with a smile.

It's the best spa I have ever been to. The facilities are second to none. Lovely pools with waterfalls indoors and out.  A Heavenly thermal spa with lots of interesting places where you can indulge yourself, including The Candle Pool, Rose Sauna, Thought Zone, Volcanic Salt Bath and Experience Showers to name a few.

Our room was very pretty in pale green and pink and felt very cosy and relaxed. There were lovely fresh robes and slippers waiting for us on the bed and free Decleor skincare products.

Apart from all the amazing facilities we were very impressed with the excellent service and the relaxed, calm, unpretentious atmosphere.

We changed into our bathrobes for most of our stay (even at lunch). The staff are lovely and make you feel relaxed and at home. The food is lovely too, healthy and delicious but not too worthy, just right.

We had a delicious buffet style lunch on arrival which included a choice of starters and desert. The evening meal offered a good choice of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes, with starter and pudding - all gorgeous. The piece de resistance was definitely breakfast in bed. Warm croissants, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, all delivered to our room on a lovely individual tray, what a treat!

My Decleor facial, which was part of the Reviver package, was the best one ever! The Decleor products felt very luxurious and left my skin feeling refreshed and renewed.

My husband had an amazing full body massage and afterwards only had enough energy to walk to the relaxation area and flop! Both treatments felt very professional and lasted an amazing 50 minutes each.

The Hall dates back to 1785 and there are some amazing views across the Leicestershire countryside. The grounds are stunning and although it felt slightly strange at first, it was lovely strolling around in our dressing gowns and flip-flops, taking in the beautiful scenery.

I would definitely recommend Ragdale Hall. It's a great place to unwind with your partner, girlfriends or simply on your own. After 24 hours I felt like I had been on holiday for a week!

Thank you Ragdale x
